the story While the company’s name and logo may have changed, the expertise and commitment to quality that customers have know and trusted for over 40 years has not.
the situation A provider of equipment and training to the emergency services industry, CMC had recently undergone a major re-branding. Part of an effort to expand into adjacent markets, the re-branding risked alienating a well established customer base. This catalog had to generate excitement over the re-branding while emphasizing the company’s heritage.
the solution We redesigned the catalog from the ground up with a more open look, new typography, and a simplified grid-based layout. We condensed all of the product copy into a more accessible format, developed a dozen branding spreads to highlight CMC’s experience in key areas, and were responsible for overall project management and prepress production of the 196-page catalog.
